<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable electronic device and a control method of the portable electronic device capable of indirectly inspecting a piece of data with high accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: The portable electronic device includes: a memory that stores data; a receiving section that receives a command transmitted from an external apparatus; a command processing section that, when the receiving section receives an issuance command, obtains a piece of data based on the issued command and writes the obtained data in the memory; a hash value calculation section that, when the receiving section receives an inspection command, calculates a hash value based on the data in the memory; a response processing section that generates a response based on the hash value calculated by the hash value calculation section; and a transmitting section that transmits the response generated by the response processing section to the external apparatus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
