<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable simple acquisition of a high-accuracy "pixel to height" conversion formula without using a camera parameter. <P>SOLUTION: A calibration device includes: a rectangular-shaped calibrating unit 1 having white zones 1w and black zones 1b alternatively arranged on its surface; a line-sensor camera 2 arranged so as to photograph the calibrating unit 1 in a longitudinal direction; and a processing computer 3 for calibrating the line-sensor camera 2 on the basis of an image signal output from the line-sensor camera 2. Further, the white zones 1w and the black zones 1b have an identical width, and a border line between a white zone 1w and a black zone 1b is inclined at a predetermined angle θ relative to the longitudinal direction of the body of the calibrating unit 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
