<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejection device that can collect liquid from a fluid channel allowing the liquid to flow therein, and can prevent a solid material contained in the liquid from settling in the fluid channel. <P>SOLUTION: This liquid ejection device 10 includes a liquid ejection section 22 for ejecting liquid to a medium, a liquid reservoir 17 for reserving the liquid, and a first liquid channel 31 that couples the liquid reservoir 17 to the liquid ejection section 22 so as to allow the liquid to flow therebetween. A branch 35 is provided on the first liquid channel 31. The liquid ejection device further includes a second liquid channel 32 capable of allowing liquid branched from the branch 35 to flow therein.
