<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a salient pole concentrated winding stator of a motor which can reduce the number of components and the amount of insulating resin required for connection, and to provide a manufacturing method therefor. <P>SOLUTION: The plurality of coils 13 of a salient pole concentrated winding stator 10 comprises: a first end-of-winding 41 located closer to the radial outside on one axial end side of the stator 10; and a second end-of-winding 42 located closer to the radial inside. At least one of the bundle wires 14 extending from the first end-of-winding 41 and second end-of-winding 42 extends across a coil of different phase in the circumferential direction. The ends of the bundle wire 14 extending from the first end-of-winding 41 and second end-of-winding 42 have protrusions 41a and 42a protruding in the axial direction for the coil winding part 16 and the axial end of an insulator 12. The protrusion 41a on the first end-of-winding 41 side of one of the in-phase coils 13 adjoining in the circumferential direction and the protrusion 42a on the second end-of-winding 42 side of the other coil 13 are bonded directly without using other power distribution member to form a joint 50.
