<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a mounting area of a communication device and acquire a fault location without being restricted by a communication mode. <P>SOLUTION: A first communication device 100 and a second communication device 110 include communication monitoring sections 102 and 112 in transmission paths 301 and 311 for transmitting signals and receiving paths 302 and 312, and compare the monitoring results and fault location specification logical tables corresponding to the two communication devices 100 and 110. When notification contents of the fault location are overlapped in the fault location specification logical table in a normal mode of the first communication device 100, the transmission path 301 and the receiving path 302 are cut off from a transmission path 130 by switching sections 103a and 103b, and the transmission path 301 is connected to the transmission path 130 side of the receiving path 302. Thereby, the normal mode is switched to a self-diagnosis mode, and the fault location is confirmed by using the fault location specification logical table in the self-diagnosis mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
