<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk drive device capable of precisely making a focal point reach a recording layer without causing an objective lens of an optical pickup to collide with an optical disk regardless of kinds of optical disks. <P>SOLUTION: A nonvolatile memory 12 has a drive data displacement characteristic table 120 which associates drive data for driving an actuator 36 with displacement of the actuator 36. A control part 11 obtains a displacement of the actuator 36 corresponding to drive data when detecting that a focal point of a laser beam Lz has reached the surface of an optical disk 1 by referring to the drive data displacement characteristic table 120. The control part 11 obtains drive data corresponding to an addition value calculated by adding a specific value to the obtained displacement by referring to the drive data displacement characteristic table 120, and sets it as an upper limit in bringing an objective lens 31 close to the optical disk 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
