PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to determine precisely whether or not an image of an object other than a subject is included in a captured image.

SOLUTION: An image processing device 10 includes: a captured image storage section 61 for storing a captured image of a mounting table captured by an image capturing section 71 of a stand-type image scanner 50; a contour extraction processing section 63 for extracting a contour image from the captured image stored in the captured image storage section 61 to store the contour image in a contour image storage section 62; a circularity and straight line number calculating section 64 for calculating circularity of the contour image and the number of straight lines constituting the contour image on the basis of the contour image stored in the contour image storage section 62; and a hand reflection determination section 65 for determining whether or not a hand reflection is included in a business form image on the basis of the calculated circularity and the calculated number of the straight lines.
