<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain generation of abnormal sound at engagement of a claw piece comprising a ratchet-type one-way clutch at starting of an engine. <P>SOLUTION: The internal combustion engine starting device comprises a ring gear 16 to which torque of a starting motor is transmitted, an outer race plate 12 to be rotated integrally with a crankshaft 2, and a ratchet-type one-way clutch 30 provided between an inner race 18 of the ring gear 16 and an outer race 14 of the outer race plate 12. It also comprises an interlocking mechanism 50 to make the ring gear 16 rotated while accompanying the rotation of the outer race plate 12 when the rotation speed of the outer race plate 12 exceeds temporarily the rotation speed of the ring gear 16 at the starting of the engine. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
