<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically create a recording medium capable of reproducing all titles including an additional title in an order intended by a user when adding the title and recording the title in the recording medium in a recording and reproduction device. <P>SOLUTION: When adding the title and recording the title in a BD, after a title number about the title to be recorded is added to a management information file and stored (S2), the storing order of all title numbers in the management information file after adding the title number is rearranged on the basis of attribute information included in title information in accordance with a sort type (S4), and the management information file is updated with the rearranged contents (S5).
