<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic apparatus capable of more simply outputting sound according to hearing environment around a listener. <P>SOLUTION: A right sound collection part is disposed at a position in a sound output part at which sound in space on the right side of a listener is collected, and collects the sound and converts it to a right sound collection signal. A left sound collection part is disposed at a position in the sound output part at which sound in space on the left side of the listener is collected, and collects the sound and converts it to a left sound collection signal. A sound collection signal analysis part determines whether either of the right sound collection signal and the left sound collection signal has a higher level.
