<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting element improved in light extraction efficiency and also reduced in color shifts, with a simplified constitution. <P>SOLUTION: In a light emitting element 10 including, on a transparent substrate, a light extraction surface having an uneven structure, the uneven structure is formed of a plane part 20b and a recessed part 20a recessed from the plane part 20b, a proportion of the area of the plane part 20b relative to an area obtained by projecting the light extraction surface in the direction perpendicular to the plane part 20b is 0-25%, an aspect ratio of the depth h2 of the recessed part 20a relative to the length d2 of an opening of the recessed part 20a is 0.25-0.3, and, when n represents a refractive index of the transparent substrate, a light distribution in air of the transparent substrate is less than 1/n<SP POS="POST">2</SP>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
