<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a correcting method capable of simply correcting a deformed portion of a pressed metal plate without requiring proficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The method for correcting a deformed hollow portion 2 of the pressed metal plate W includes the following three steps A, B and C, which are taken in this order. In the step A, the deformed portion 2 and its surrounding are rubbed by means of an oilstone. In the step B, the deformed portion 2 is rubbed using a rod shape correcting tool 1 having the hemispherical 1B in the distal end thereof so as to generate frictional heat at the deformed portion 2. In the step C, the deformed portion 2 rubbed by means of the hemispherical part 1B is rubbed by means of the oilstone. It is preferable to rub the deformed portion 2 by applying the hemispherical part 1B to the deformed portion 2 with pressing force nearly equal to a writing pressure in the step B. It is also preferable to rub the deformed portion 2 so that the hemispherical part 1B causes linear scars in the step B, and to rub the deformed portion 2 by means of the oilstone until the linear scars are eliminated in the step C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
