<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve accuracy of face recognition from conventional techniques that have low accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: An information processing device 20 is configured to: pre-store in a by-period reference feature amount storage part 204 a by-period reference feature amount list registering, by period, a reference feature amount of a person to be a target of discrimination; detect a face image included in a received image using a face image detection program stored in a face image detection program storage part 202 when receiving the image from a mail server 10 via a communication part 300; calculate a face feature amount from the detected face image using a face feature amount calculation program stored in a face feature amount calculation program storage part 203; and select, from the reference feature amounts registered in the by-period reference feature amount list, a reference feature amount with which the corresponding period includes the photographed date and time of the received image or close thereto, and recognize the face based on the selected feature amount. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
