PURPOSE: A light guide plate, a surface light source device, a transmissive image display device, method for designing a light distribution pattern for the light guide plate, and a light guide plate manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce the brightness and irregularity of a connection part between ink jet heads. CONSTITUTION: An optical reflective dot(12) is formed on one or more sides of a light guide plate member. The optical reflective dot is formed on a grid point two-dimensionally and regularly arranged for a printing target. Partial optical reflective dots of plural optical reflective dots are picked out. A picking rate of the optical reflective dots is set on 1% to 30% of the number of grid points. |
