<p>The element has a control valve (200) for controlling a flow of pressurized fluid through a fluid circulation duct. The valve has pistons (50, 52) movable along an axis (Y-Y') with respect to a main body (40). One of the pistons co-operate directly or indirectly with a seat (47) formed by the body to close the valve. The pistons are interconnected via corresponding mechanical link units formed of plate connection units (142, 144), and define corresponding opposite surfaces (502, 522) provided in contact with fluid when the valve is open. The link units are arranged outside the duct. An independent claim is also included for a quick-connect coupler comprising a female element.</p> |
