<p>The method involves removing a part i.e. upper part (21), of an actuation pedal (10) comprising a retaining system of a ball joint of a control rod. Position of the retaining system of the ball joint of the rod is marked in dissymmetrical manner with respect to a median plane of the part of the pedal. Inversion of position of the retaining system is made with respect to the median plane of the part of the pedal in which the retaining system is inserted. Blocking of the retaining system in the position chosen according to required geometrical gear ratio is ensured. An independent claim is also included for a device for connecting a control rod with a ball joint of a clutching or braking system of a motor vehicle to an actuation pedal at multiple clearance possibilities, comprising a cassette.</p> |
