PURPOSE: A hood gas lifter mounting device is provided to firmly fix a weather strap with a hood gas lift on the side of a fender cover and to increase the degree of freedom in the layout of an engine room by positioning the hood gas lift behind a cowl. CONSTITUTION: A hood gas lifter mounting device(1) comprises a mounting block(2) which is located in a space between the side of a cowl(60), a fender cover(80) which is attached to the side of an engine room(20) to provide bottom and side fixing forces, and a positioner(10) which is formed in the fender cover to fix the mounting block.
