PURPOSE: A device for showing absence of stock for a display shelf is provided to enable a consumer or a seller to easily confirm whether goods run out of stock or not. CONSTITUTION: A device for showing absence of stock for a display shelf comprises a vertical board(1) which is installed to protrude upward in the front of the display shelf, one side board(2a) and the other side board(2b) which are formed with a vertical guide groove on the inside thereof, a movement guide board(3) which is lifted and lowered along the vertical guide groove of one side board and the other side board, and a push operation unit(4) which is placed between one side board and the other side board.
