PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching circuit that reduces the burden of a control circuit performing switching control.

SOLUTION: A switching circuit includes: a resistor connected between a control electrode of a first switching element and a control circuit that switchingly controls the first switching element; a first capacitor connected between the control electrode of the first switching element and a low-potential-side electrode of the first switching element; and a second switching element connected in series to the first capacitor. A high-potential-side electrode of the second switching element is electrically connected to the control electrode of the first switching element, a low-potential-side electrode of the second switching element is electrically connected to a low-potential-side power terminal of the first switching element, and a control electrode of the second switching element is connected between the resistor and the control circuit.
