<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distortion compensation device that prevents the amplitude of distortion compensation coefficients from excessively increasing even when updated repeatedly. <P>SOLUTION: In an aspect of an embodiment, the distortion compensation device for reducing a distortion of an amplifier applied to an output signal of the amplifier includes: a plurality of distortion compensation coefficient storage sections each for storing a plurality of distortion compensation coefficients and outputting a distortion compensation coefficient depending on the amplitude of an input signal to the amplifier; a distortion compensation processing section for applying the distortion compensation coefficient output from each of the plurality of distortion compensation coefficient storage sections to the input signal to the amplifier; and a distortion compensation coefficient updating section for weighting the distortion compensation coefficient output from each of the plurality of distortion compensation coefficient storage sections to reduce the magnitude of the distortion compensation coefficient, and calculating an update value of the distortion compensation coefficient with the use of the weighted distortion compensation coefficient. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
