CARBON DIOXIDE SEPARATION AND RECOVERY SYSTEM IN EXHAUST GAS BY ZEOLITE MEMBRANE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon dioxide separation and recovery system in exhaust gas by a zeolite membrane exhibiting outstanding permeability/separation selectivity of carbon dioxide, about the separation and recovery of carbon dioxide (CO2) in exhaust gas.

SOLUTION: This system of separating and recovering CO2in exhaust gas comprises: a membrane type dehydrator 8 separating and removing moisture in pressurized exhaust gas to a permeation side of a moisture separation film 7 to reduce a moisture concentration; a separation concentrator 11 generating gas in which CO2is concentrated to a permeation side of a carbon dioxide separation membrane 10 from the dehumidified non-permeation side gas; and a separation removal device 14 selectively permeating CO2to the permeation side of a carbon dioxide separation membrane 13 from the residual exhaust gas at the non-permeation side where the CO2concentration is reduced so that the CO2concentration at the non-permeation side gas is reduced. At least one of the carbon dioxide separation membrane 10 and the carbon dioxide separation membrane 13 is a zeolite membrane.
