<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a bearing wall, which enables batten cleat attachment work to be easily performed by increasing rigidity while making the structure simple, and a framework structure which is assembled from the structure. <P>SOLUTION: An octagonal structure 1 comprises an octagonal structural material formed of four members, that is, an upper side member 2 and a lower side member 2-1 facing each other in parallel, and right and left lateral side members 2-2 facing each other in parallel. Both ends of the upper side member 2 and the lower side member 2-1 and both ends of the right and left lateral side members 2-2 are joined to each other, respectively. Wooden blocks 10 are fixed to each side members of the upper side member 2 and the lower side member 2-1, and each lateral side members of the right and left lateral side members 2-2.
