Disclosed are a method and system for information transfer, and a browser of a mobile terminal, belonging to the field of mobile Internet. The method includes: a browser plugin of a personal computer and a browser of a mobile terminal respectively acquiring the address of a cloud server from an address server, and logging into the cloud server corresponding to the address; after successfully logging into the cloud server, the browser plugin of the personal computer sending to the cloud server a message content record of a user; and after the browser of the mobile terminal has successfully logged into the cloud server, the cloud server actively pushing the message content record to the browser of the mobile terminal according to an HTTP persistent connection with the browser of the mobile terminal, or the browser of the mobile terminal regularly and actively pulling the message content record from the cloud server. By way of the above solution, the present invention simplifies the information transfer process since the entire information transfer process does not need the cooperation of the operators or the process of an embedded specific function.
