<p>An improved closure member construction such as a door (100) comprises internal closure door components (102, 104, 106) and an outer covering (110) encapsulating the internal door components (102, 104, 106). The outer covering comprises a sheet or sheets (110) of a plastics material formed about the door (100) and welded in position about the door by a weld (114) so as not to leave any overlapping edges, crevices or gaps.
