<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method that produces disk-shaped glass substrates in batches, and also can produce glass substrates quickly. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes: a process for cutting a stack 14 of glass sheets along a predetermined opening defining a hole to each glass sheet 12 in the stack 14 of glass sheets supported on a bottom 18; a process for connecting the stack 14 of glass sheets to the bottom 18 through a connecting member that passes the hole of each glass sheet 12 in the stack 14; and a process for cutting the stack 14 of glass sheets along a predetermined periphery without changing the position of the stack 14 of glass sheets with respect to the bottom 18 after cutting along the opening. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
