<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an access error at the start-up and shut-down of each module with only necessary modules turned on under the control by hardware while performing a simple power supply control based on ACPI as control by software. <P>SOLUTION: In an information processing device, a controller part 1201 accesses each module 1203 to 1205 irrespective of the power state of each module. A power source control part 1206 turns off unused modules, turns on modules accessed by the controller part 1201, and outputs a controller part controlling signal 1209 as "1" to the controller part 1201. The controller part 1201 recognizes an error when receiving no response from data processing module having been accessed, even after a time-out time passes after the accessing. While "1" as the controller part controlling signal 1209 is input in the controller part 1201, the controller part 1201 delays the time of recognition of the error. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
