<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To positively perform drain control even when a drain level detecting means fails, in a combustion device which drains condensate water generated in a heat exchanger for collecting latent heat into a bathtub. <P>SOLUTION: A condensate water drain means 40 includes a collecting tray 41 disposed below a sub-heat exchanger 8 for collecting latent heat and collecting the condensate water falling from the sub-heat exchanger 8, a drain circuit 42 connected between the collecting tray 41 and a bathtub hot water supply circuit 75, a drain tank 44 provided to the drain circuit 42, and the drain level detection means 50 for stepwisely detecting the level of the condensate water in the drain tank 44. A control means 60 executes combustion stop of a burner 4a, an alarm display to a remote controller 65, and drainage of the condensate water in the drain tank to the bathtub, according to the detected level of the drain level detection means 50. Further, the control means 60 calculates an integrated combustion heat quantity of the burner 4a as a value matching an accumulation amount of the condensate water accumulated in the drain tank 44, and a calculated value indicating the integrated combustion heat quantity or a converted condensate water accumulation amount is used as backup information upon failure of the drain level detection means 50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
