<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a woody earthquake-proof wall where loads transmitted from frame members to plate members can help in forming the compressive struts of the plate members. <P>SOLUTION: The woody earthquake-proof wall includes a woody earthquake-proof wall unit 11 which includes a pair of woody plates 12, 12 formed in an octagonal shape with their rectangular angle portions chamfered and installed overlapping each other, a frame member 13 formed by framing a T-shaped steel in an octagonal shape so that its webs 13a are directed inside of flanges 13b while the inner faces of the flanges 13b run along end faces 12a of the pair of woody plates 12, 12, respectively, the webs 13a being mounted between the pair of woody plates 12, 12 and joined to the pair of woody plates 12, 12, respectively, and joint plates (steel plates) 14 shaped matching to the angle portions, positioned matching to the angle portions, and joined to the flanges 13b of the frame member 13, the frame member 13 being disposed in such directions that chamfered portions 13d of the flanges 13b located in rectangular chamfered areas are perpendicular to rectangular diagonal lines. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
