<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress wind noise so as to obtain more natural sound. <P>SOLUTION: A division part 2 divides input sound into a first frequency band with a possibility to include wind noise and a second frequency band with a higher frequency than that of the first frequency band. A calculation part 3 calculates a probability that the input sound is wind noise on the basis of the feature parameter of the input sound of the first frequency band. A suppression part 4 suppresses the wind noise included in the first frequency band at intensity corresponding to the calculated probability. An addition part 5 synthesizes the input sound of the second frequency band, which is obtained by division in the division part 2, with the input sound of the first frequency band, whose wind noise is suppressed by the suppression part 4, and outputs the input sound. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
