<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device including a contact plate that helps to simply configure a necessary sensor system. <P>SOLUTION: An input device 10 comprises a contact plate 12 that includes a contact surface 14 and is at least partly covered with an electric resistance layer 16 on a surface opposite to the contact surface 14. The electric resistance layer 16 includes at least two conductive contact points 18. The input device 10 is provided with a measuring circuit for measuring a detection capacitor formed by an electrostatically chargeable object 22, which is disposed at a contact position on the electrical resistance layer 16 and the contact surface 14. Further, the input device 10 is provided with a processing device that determines a coordinate (X,Y) of the contact position of the electrostatically chargeable object 22, by determining an ohm resistance between the contact position of the electrostatically chargeable object 22 and each of the conductive points. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
