<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card inspection device capable of miniaturizing the device. <P>SOLUTION: A conveyance path 21 of a card body 2 to be conveyed from an upstream side to a downstream side is inclined and set so as to be lowered from the upstream side to the downstream side. An inspection part 41 for inspecting the card body 2 is arranged in the conveyance path 21, and the inspection part 41 has a direction inspection function for inspecting the direction of the conveyed card body 2. An inversion mechanism 111 having a front and rear side inversion function for inverting the front and rear sides of the card body 2 and a front and back side inversion function for inverting the front and back sides of the card body 2 is arranged at the downstream of the inspection part 41.
