<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of occurrence of unnatural ringing in conventional color interpolation processing. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing device includes: among a plurality of pixels corresponding to either one of a first color component, a second color component, and a third color component, an image input unit for inputting image data constituted by a first type pixel in which only the first color component is known, a second type pixel in which only the second color component is known, and a third type pixel in which only the third color component is known; a first color component interpolation unit for obtaining a first interpolation value of the first color component from the first type pixel in the vicinity of a target pixel having an unknown first color component; a first uneven structure calculation unit for obtaining a first uneven structure from the target pixel and at least one of the second type pixel and the third type pixel in the vicinity of the target pixel; a first uneven portion addition unit for obtaining a second interpolation value by adding the first uneven structure to the first interpolation value; a first color range calculation unit for obtaining the range of the first color component from the first type pixel in the vicinity of the target pixel; and a clip unit for obtaining a third interpolation value by clipping the second interpolation value within the range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
