<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To collect and store time series data (data stream) generated momentarily, on a network and nondisruptively execute data processing in a form fitted to a purpose of a user. <P>SOLUTION: A postscript part (Q) in the distributed data management system notifies a postscript client (AC) of a state thereof, and when there is a need to stop the postscript part (Q), notifies the postscript client (AC) of a switch-over. The postscript client (AC) receiving the notification requests an information part (I) to put out connection information of another postscript part (Q) and continues the processing with the other postscript part (I). In that case, the postscript client may switch over to an IP address server other than the current IP address, or may switch over to the IP address designated from the information part (I), or may, without switching over, suspend the postscript till a lapse of the designated time or till changing into a designated state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
