Disclosed are a scheduling grant determination method and a user equipment, comprising: when the ratio between the non-quantization power gain factor of an E-DCH dedicated physical data channel (E-DPDCH) and the power gain factor of a DPCCH is smaller than the minimum quantization value ?E-DPDCH in a?E-DPDCH quantization table, setting the power gain factor of the E-DPDCH required for an E-DCH transmission format combination indicator (E-TFCI) as the power gain factor of the E-DPDCH corresponding to the minimum quantization value ?E-DPDCH; otherwise, determining the E-DPDCH power gain factors that correspond to the quantization values ?E-DPDCH in the?E-DPDCH quantization table and that are smaller than or equal to the non-quantization power gain factor of the E-DPDCH, and selecting the maximum value therefrom and setting it as the E-DPDCH power gain factor required for the E-TFCI; and calculating the quadratic sum of each E-DPDCH power gain factor required for the E-TFCI to obtain a scheduling grant required for the E-TFCI. The present invention overcomes the defect that a UE cannot achieve the maximum rate in the scheduling grant determination method in the prior art. |
