Voltage difference between the electrolyte and the semiconductor corresponds to voltage difference externally applied during charging such that electrochemical processes are carried out vice versa during discharging. #CMT# : #/CMT# The semiconductor is designed as n-type semiconductor and a p-type semiconductor. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Combination of a battery e.g. reversible battery such as lithium-ion battery, and capacitor i.e. film capacitor, for reversibly storing electrical power with high energy density for a fossil fuel-powered vehicle. Can also be used for a wind-power plant. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The battery and the capacitor are combinedly arranged, so that the need of separating layers for selective mass transportation can be avoided.
