<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a fixation failure of a toner image to be caused by departure from parallelism between a transfer part and a fixing part. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device A includes: a secondary transfer part 7A for transferring a toner image formed on an intermediate transfer belt 6 to a sheet S; a fixing part 30 provided on the downstream side of the secondary transfer part 7A in a sheet conveyance direction to fix the transferred toner image on the sheet S by heat; an adjustment part 8 for adjusting parallelism of the fixing part 30 with respect to the secondary transfer part 7A; first and second sensors 11 and 12 for detecting transverse displacement of the sheet S between the secondary transfer part 7A and the fixing part 30, in a conveyance front part and a conveyance rear part; and a control part 90. The control part 90 causes the adjustment part 8 to adjust parallelism of the fixing part 30 with respect to the secondary transfer part 7A on the basis of the detected displacement of the sheet S. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
