<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means or the like capable of specifying cancer of which the treatment by an anticancer agent is effective. <P>SOLUTION: A diagnostic reagent includes a substance having an affinity with an HER2 extracellular domain fragment and diagnoses an effect of an anticancer agent to lung cancer. A diagnostic kit includes the substance having the affinity with the HER2 extracellular domain fragment and the HER2 extracellular domain fragment and diagnoses an effect of the anticancer agent to the lung cancer. A method for testing the effect of the anticancer agent to the lung cancer includes a step (a) for measuring the concentration of HER2 extracellular domain fragments in a biological sample derived from a subject and a step (b) for comparing the measured concentration of HER2 extracellular domain fragments with a reference indicating relation between the concentration of HER2 extracellular domain fragments and the effect of the anticancer agent to the lung cancer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
