<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of paper jamming due to overlapped feeding of sheets by improving sheet separation effect to prevent the overlapped feeding, in a sheet feeding device of an air feeding system. <P>SOLUTION: In a sheet feeding unit 2 blowing air to a sheet bundle T to suck and convey the topmost sheet S1, the sheet feeding unit includes: a lifter 61 freely lifting and lowering the sheet bundle T; a leading end limit plate 62 limiting a leading end position of the sheet bundle T loaded on the lifter 61; a handling air nozzle 71 for handling the sheet by blowing air to an upper part of the sheet bundle T in a horizontal direction; a suction conveyance belt 81 sucking and conveying the topmost sheet S1 from the plurality of sheets handled by the handling air nozzle 71; and a separation air nozzle 72 separating the topmost sheet S1 from the second or later sheet S2. The separation air nozzle 72 is arranged so that an intersection X with the suction conveyance belt 81 when the leading end limit plate 62 is extended upward is positioned in a projection region of a blowing outlet 72a onto the suction conveyance belt 81. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
