摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core for a reactor, capable of improving DC superposition characteristics, a method of manufacturing the same, and the reactor. <P>SOLUTION: A core M for a reactor is made by pressure-molding metal magnetic particles each covered with an insulating coating, and the metal magnetic particle includes the following configuration. (1) An average particle diameter is 1 &mu;m or more and 70 &mu;m or less. (2) A variation coefficient Cv(&sigma;/&mu;) representing the ratio of the standard deviation of the particle diameters (&sigma;) to the average particle diameter (&mu;) is 0.40 or less. (3) Circularity is 0.8 or more and 1.0 or less. The circularity is the average value of values found by the following formula after observing cross sections of 1,000 or more randomly sampled metal magnetic particles under a microscope, and calculating the area and the circumference length of each metal magnetic particle.
