<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a signal observation function to be easily added to an IC socket having a general structure. <P>SOLUTION: An IC socket includes: a socket body 103 into which an IC is inserted; and a contact part 104 for conducting the inserted IC to an external circuit board 101.
