The present invention addresses the problem of providing an image management device, an image management method, and an image management program, wherein it is possible to register a set of image data pertaining to documents related to a schedule during a specified period in said schedule in a highly convenient manner for a user and as a result it is possible to eliminate the time and effort needed to be spent by a user to go search for related documents when the user is trying to follow the schedule on a calendar. According to an embodiment of the present invention, when an icon corresponding to a set of image data created by means of a scanner is dropped within a calendar screen, such as a region displaying the year, on a monitor, the set of image data is subjected to OCR processing, a keyword is extracted from the image data, a portion of the image data is cut out, the cut-out image data is stored in a set of year data contained in a set of calendar data, and the extracted keyword and an icon indicating that the set of image data is registered are displayed within the region displaying the year.
