<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection device capable of avoiding an adverse effect due to ultraviolet light from outside. <P>SOLUTION: A projection device 20 comprises: an optical element 50; an irradiation device 60; an optical modulator 30; an intermediate optical system 70; and a projection optical system 80. The projection device 20 scans on a hologram recording medium 55 by a scanning device 65 using coherent light, makes the coherent light diffused by the hologram recording medium 55 incident on the intermediate optical system 70, restricts a divergence angle of the coherent light by the intermediate optical system 70, and then illuminates a region LZ to be illuminated. Thereby, the proportion of coherent light not used for illuminating the region LZ to be illuminated in the coherent light diffused by the hologram recording medium 55 can be reduced, thus improving illumination intensity of the region LZ to be illuminated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
