<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption in a paper sheet identification device. <P>SOLUTION: The paper sheet identification device comprises: a sensor for detecting a paper sheet to be an identification object; an image capturing section for capturing the image of the paper sheet detected by the sensor; an identification processing section for identifying the paper sheet by the image of the paper sheet captured by the image capturing section; and a power control section for operating the image capturing section and the identification processing section as usual until the identification processing of the paper sheet is completed by the identification processing section after the paper sheet is detected by the sensor and stopping the operations of the image capturing section and the identification processing section after the completion of the identification processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
