<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiving device which can be wirelessly connected to a transmitting device without requiring a user operation. <P>SOLUTION: The receiving device manages, in a connection history table, identification information of one or a plurality of transmitting devices in accordance with predetermined priorities and, when wirelessly connected to a transmitting device, updates the connection history table so that a priority of the wirelessly connected transmitting device becomes highest. When sensing the presence of a human by a human sensor, the receiving device searches for the transmitting devices managed in the connection history table in decreasing order of priority. When finding a transmitting device, the receiving device is automatically and wirelessly connected to the found transmitting device.
