<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a level measurement device consisting of an electronic level easy to be confirmed by a surveyor and an electronic level rod, by resolving problems found in a verticality detection of a conventional rod and also un-necessitating a complex maintenance work. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic level 1 fitted with the light wave range finder providing the light wave range finder on the electronic level is used for the level measurement device, and reflection objects 44b, 44a are prepared on an upper end 3b and a lower end 3a of a rod 3. In an arithmetic processing section 28, an actually measured straight line distance Y to the rod 3 from the electronic level 1 fitted with the light wave range finder and a straight line distance X calculated by a straight line distance up to the reflection objects 44b, 44a from the electronic level 1 fitted with the light wave range finder and a length of the rod 3, are compared to determine vertical state of the rod 3. Since an inclination of the rod 3 can be thereby detected at the side of the electronic level 1 fitted with light wave range finder, preparation of a sensor, etc., to the rod 3 does not required and also the complex electronic maintenance work is unnecessary, and the vertical state of the rod 3 can be easily confirmed by the surveyor at the side of level 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
