<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring image reproduction apparatus which shortens a searching period of a desired image while reproducing monitoring images recorded for a long period with a monitoring camera 11, etc. <P>SOLUTION: When images recorded with one or more monitoring cameras are reproduced on each of divided screens, images of different time periods are simultaneously reproduced on the plural divided screens 1 to 4 after each fixed period. If reproduction of an image a time period assigned to the screen 2, for example, among the screens is completed, the screens are reconfigured by screen migration (1) and (2) in which the screens are moved so as to be arranged in time series, and reproduction of an image of a new time period is started like (3) on the last screen 4, which has become blank as the result of the movement.
