<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device that notifies a user that discharge of an optical disk is impossible, when the optical disk is not discharged even if a forcible discharge instruction is performed, so that an unnecessary discharge instruction is not performed. <P>SOLUTION: An optical disk device includes: an optical pickup 10 that performs recording and/or reproduction on an inserted optical disk; disk discharge means 7 that discharges the optical disk to the outside of the device; and a control unit 1 that determines whether an optical disk exists inside the device when a predetermined number of forcible discharge instructions for the optical disk are performed within a predetermined period of time and, notifies a user that discharge of the optical disk is impossible via a notification unit 8 when it is determined that the optical disk exists inside the device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
