The plant has commercial photovoltaic (PV) modules (3) mounted on frames that are constructed above a road such as highways. The frames are arranged so high such that the traffic is not interfered by the frames and the view of the landscape at both sides of the road is not affected. Guide rails are arranged in vertical beams (2). Anti-glare and flicker shields i.e. tinted glass (4), are arranged in shadow spacing (5) between the individual PV modules, so that incident light is absorbed and a glare or flicker effect does not occur on the road.
