<p>Provided are a method and server for exception handling during call connection, relating to the field of communications. The method includes: after receiving a call request message sent by the calling user equipment, detecting whether or not there is an exception in the calling user equipment; and, if it is detected that there is an exception in the calling user equipment, then disconnecting the call from the calling user equipment to the called user equipment and releasing relevant resources of the call. In the present invention, detecting whether or not there is an exception in the calling user equipment during call connection, timely disconnecting the call from the calling user equipment to the called user equipment when it is detected that there is an exception in the calling user equipment, and releasing relevant resources of the call can reduce the overhead of the calling system, can improve the experience of the called subscriber, reducing unnecessary rings, and, moreover, errors in payment calculation during call connection can be prevented by timely finding the exception and disconnecting the call in the case of cross-office and cross-operator calling.</p> |
