The system has a bearing component (16) comprising a bearing bush (14) with a bearing bore, and another bearing component (18) with a shaft (12) that is arranged in the bore. A bearing gap (20) is sealed by a sealing gap (32). Portions of a bearing are connected with one another by a recirculation channel (28). Two axial portions (32a, 32c) of the sealing gap are arranged between axially running peripheral surfaces of the bush and the former component, where the portions are filled with bearing fluid. An end of the channel opens within one of the portions or between the portions into the bush. The recirculation channel is formed as a blind bore. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a spindle motor (2) a hard disk drive.
